New Visions Economic Development Corporation (NVEDC-Okc) is a nonprofit organization organized as a 501c3.
We want to change the world. How? By stimulating and nurturing underrepresented communities in five key areas: Education, Housing, Healthcare, Social Justice, and Employment.
New Visions EDC-OKC creates, develops and supports a wide range of projects to INSPIRE people who are often overlooked. Their dreams and goals are REAL to us!

Education
The NVEDC-Okc Educational stem is facilitated in collaboration with Project Exit, who provides mentorship, exposure and guidance to high school students on their next step college journey. K-12 Consulting is also available to agencies, districts and organizations for working with youth and young adults. Finally, NVEDC-Okc targets young dreamers for coaching in its Entrepreneurship Incubator.
Housing
Safe and affordable housing is critical to the growth of every community. NVEDC-Okc seeks to develop projects which provide transitional housing options for homeless residents, as well as our KickStarter Unit for young adults identified as “couch homeless.”
Employment
Access and preparation to quality employment is the goal of NVEDC-Okc partnerships to provide career coaching (explore career opportunities against interests and habits), college internships, and professional development (interview skills, job readiness prep, resume, etc.)
Healthcare
Under-represented communities often experience the poorest health outcomes. Access to in home care services is an urgent initiative for senior residents and those who live alone. Through By the Light Home Health, NVEDC-Okc offers companion services and in-home care.
Social Justice
